I’ve got a few things on my plate, along with my imminant PCS move to Fort Campbell where I’ll be finishing the last 2 years of my current enlistment as Active Army, I’ll be job hunting. At the same time, I’m going to try to finish up my Associates degree. I’m not sure what I want to major in, but I assume it’s going to be pretty easy to figure out.
I’ll be writing a few reviews over the next couple of weeks. Next on the list is WeGame. A social video and screenshot recording and sharing service. Apparently there’s a good number of games already supported. I own a few of them, so I’ll be testing the free product out on a few games, including Half-Life 2, Unreal Tournament 3, and others.
Follow WeGame on Twitter and/or Visit WeGame.com
Shortly after that I’ll be doing a trial run of Affiliate Paradise. It was suggested to me by JR Razmus as a suggestion for making money online.
If you have a suggestion for a comparison or review, please let me know.

No Comments » I’ve always been one of those people that likes to improve things. I like building, I like learning, and I love helping. What is my downfall? Clouds. Yes, clouds; but not the kind you’re thinking of. I’m not talking about the social or network kinds, I’m talking about the kind your Grandma scorns you about. “You’ve got your head in too many clouds son”.
It’s sad, but yes, it’s true. I used to think it was Attention Deficit Disorder, but it’s not. A.D.D. means you’re easily distracted from getting one thing done. Well, that’s not really my problem. I don’t get distracted; I’m just afraid of finishing something, because I’m afraid it will not turn out to be what I wanted it to be.
I’ve always been a perfectionist. I get very troubled if things don’t go my way, or don’t turn out perfectly.
The thing is, not that many people care about perfect things. In-fact if something is too perfect, they tend to go for the other not-so-perfect stuff. So, there it is. My weakness. Feel free to exploit it, because many have. I’m only now realizing this. To my credit, some people don’t realize this till their well into their 50′s. Lucky for me.
So, here’s my solution. I’m going to finish something. It may not be the uber-leet, perfect, 5-star product that many expect, most don’t care about, and I would only settle for… before; but it will be something useful and worth using. I’m going to center my attention to one particular field, which should ease my stress level quite a bit. Then I’m going to break down my field, get up-to-date in all of the things required for it, and start building again. You’ll see what I mean in the weeks to come.
This is my new GTD scheme.
- Pick a field
- Get good at it
- Make something useful
- Stay productive
